DISSIDENCE
From old familiar windows
Light shines, both
Laughter and lies ring out
Striking me hitting me
Like stones
In old familiar gardens
Order rings out
Colour and fragrance escaping
Passing me not touching me
Like Darts
From old
familiar faces
Friends smile
Giving off warmth
For me a cold stare
Burning me with their guilt
For me a worm handshake
Turns to an accusing finger
Pointing me out
Then turning
Lowers its gaze
Now l say what l feel
Between the lines
Hoping not to be seen
Hoping to be heard
Truth escaping
