TONIGHT AT THIRTEEN O'CLOCK
Tonight at thirteen O’clock
I will tell you, I used to be indecisive, now I’m not so sure
Tonight wishful thinking will become an art form
When the clock strikes thirteen.
Tonight at thirteen O’clock
The world will declare peace on it’s self
Birds will fly beneath the ocean’s, fish will swim in the skies
John Lennon will perform live with Bob Dillon and Little Richard
And adults will again believe in Father Christmas.
When the clock strikes thirteen
Tonight at thirteen O’clock
Christians will put into practice what they actually believe
Instead of what they preach
The clergy will give money to the poor
Priest’s will no longer stand in chip shop queues
Wondering what it would be like to buy super for two
Vicar’s, priest’s, mullar’s and rabbi’s will all blend into one
Becoming the ultimate humanitarian
When the clock strikes thirteen
Tonight at thirteen O'clock
Politicians will deliver all there promises wrapped in brown paper
And tied up with string
Criminals will plant evidence on themselves
Thereby doing the police out of a job
Millionaires will open their wallets, and say help yourselves
The hands of the needy will no longer slip out of reach
When the clock strikes thirteen Tonight at thirteen O'clock
Ethnic cleansing, will just be the brand name of a new detergent
The innocent dead will rise from their graves fully clothed
To identify the guilty, and point accusing fingers at the silent
Majority, for staying silent
Tonight when the clock strikes thirteen,
You will climb naked into my bed, and we will create our own Pornographic
poetry
Tonight the heavens will open, and it will pour down with kisses,
Instead of rain
Tonight at thirteen O'clock,
Poetry will be hung on all the walls, of all the art galleries. .
