Swaggers
And struts
It frightens.
It helps lights the path.
It glorifies heroes of old,
Castigates foes.
It’s prophetic
Pathetic
Hectic
Romantic
It’s full of rhetoric.
It eases the mind, troubles the soul
Brings joy to an empty life.
It’s enthusiastic
Sarcastic
Modern
And archaic
It’ll broaden your outlook on life.
Creates peace, where once there was strife.
Tells lies
And falsehoods
Begs. Borrows
And steals
To say what it feels.
Make the young feel wise, beyond their belief .

Will make mountains smile, With the echo of laughter
Paint rainbows on storm laden skies,
Give course for the oceans to weep.
It’ll crawl, Walk, Run, leap.
It will pamper
Cajole
Torment
And vex
Every living soul.
